In order for foreign nurses to be able to successfully work in Germany the applicants must go through 3 major phases. managed through our Subsidiary company

STEP 1: REGISTER

APPLICANT SHOULD
Inquire online.
PHASE 1

STEP 1: REGISTER

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Check registration requirements for
each applicant. Provide necessary
counseling. 

STEP 2: APPLY

APPLICANT SHOULD
Scan and upload copies of required
documents by creating an account on our online portal https://portal.maleipzig.de/

or via Email to

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Verify documents of each applicant.

STEP 3: GERMAN LANGUAGE

APPLICANT SHOULD
Provide German language B1
Certificate, only GOETHE, ÖSD or
TELC are accepted. Achieved grades
must not be less than 80% in all
parts separately (speaking, reading,
writing and listening).

* the required level of B1 can also be obtained during the Aplication process 
PHASE 1

STEP 3: GERMAN LANGUAGE

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Send a confirmation if the nurse
has been accepted to join the
preparatory course. This step will
happen after the receiving of the
complete documents from the
applicant.

Note: Nurses with higher certificates than B1 will be preferred. 

STEP 4: GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

APPLICANT SHOULD
Get the required documents attested & legalized and then get all these documents translated to German language. These documents shall be then uploaded again to the online portal.

Note: The translator must be an authorized person from the German embassy in your country

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Assist the nurse with translation
if needed (In this case, the applicant himself /herself will bear the costs).

STEP 5: GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

APPLICANT SHOULD
Get all translated copies attested &
certified by German Embassy and then send by post all these documents to MeineAgentur24 head office in  Borna b. Leipzig through the offices of CareLend. for further information please visit www.carelend.de
PHASE 1

STEP 5: GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Submit the application at
Governmental office in Germany for
the Deficit Letter.

STEP 6: GOVERNMENTAL AFFAIRS

APPLICANT SHOULD
Receive his/her Deficit Letter from
the German governmental office.
The applicant needs this deficit
letter from Germany in order to appear
for the visa interview at German
embassy in his/her home country.

Grant admission to Adaptation
Course.

STEP 7: VISA APPLICATION AT GERMAN EMBASSY

APPLICANT SHOULD
Book an appointment at German Embassy. Prepare documents for visa application with the help of
CareLend GmbH.

Provide the following documents:
1.Employment Contract
2.Invitation Letter
3.Deficit Letter

STEP 8: VISA INTERVIEW

APPLICANT SHOULD
Prepare for visa interview.

Provide personal counseling for visa
interview.

STEP 9: VISA APPROVAL

APPLICANT SHOULD
Scan the visa and upload to the
online portal of MeineAgentur24/ CareLend. https://portal.maleipzig.de/

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Provide all needed information for
coming to Germany
(Pre-departure orientation).

STEP 1: ARRIVAL IN GERMANY

APPLICANT SHOULD
Share accommodation provided for the entire duration of the preparation course. Costs: approximately €300/m. (ALL Costs incl.)
Applicants can also choose to live
independent.
PHASE 2

STEP 1: ARRIVAL IN GERMANY

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Provide suitable Accomodation

STEP 2: ADAPTATION COURSE

APPLICANT SHOULD
Receive a net salary (approx. € 2.065/m.
is the gross income while the net income amount will be  approx. € 1460/m.)
during the Adaptation course. This
will start in the very first month right
after joining the course.
PHASE 2

STEP 2: ADAPTATION COURSE

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Be responsible for the arrangement of
this adaptation course.

STEP 3: B2 LEVEL GERMAN

APPLICANT SHOULD
Start learning German language
Level B2 parallely during adaptation
course.
You can finish this level in your
home country also. In case you want to
do it in Germany, please contact us
directly to make some arrangements
PHASE 2

STEP 3: B2 LEVEL GERMAN

CARELEND GMBH MUST
will arrange this.

STEP 4: SUCCESSFUL END OF ADAPTATION COURSE

APPLICANT SHOULD
Obtain German License to work as a
registered Nurse 
PHASE 2

STEP 4: SUCCESSFUL END OF ADAPTATION COURSE

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Support this.

STEP 1: Nurse CONTRACT

APPLICANT SHOULD
Be paid after the German collective agreement.

There is a high possibility of Live-in
accommodation provided by
employer for free (In some cases)
PHASE 3

STEP 1: Nurse CONTRACT

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Arrange this

STEP 2: COMPLETION OF 1 YEAR

APPLICANT SHOULD
Continue with the same employer with
free accommodation or chose another
Employer.
PHASE 3

STEP 2: COMPLETION OF 1 YEAR

CARELEND GMBH MUST
Support in this Phase too. You will be supported from CARELEND GMBH for further 2 years after getting the License to work in Germany in private and occupational matters.
